After the death of 22-year-old medical student Anna Kolyada as a result of putting herself on a dropper with the Laennec drug “to increase immunity after winter,” Roszdravnadzor began checking the circumstances of the poisoning, and Moscow investigators opened a criminal case on drug trafficking. Meanwhile, the Japanese drug from the placenta, which has a “magic” effect on the body, has long been popular among our “stars” and wealthy Russians – for 15 years already. And the well-known TV presenter Andrey Malakhov advertised it seven years ago …

It is curious how long people will be led to intoxicating their brains with advertising of all kinds of means for “weight loss”, “rejuvenation” and “health”, which, thanks, if they do not kill you, but certainly will not have the promised effect?

Recall that her close friend Dmitry Zhulin, who put Laennec droppers together with the deceased girl, also ended up in intensive care, but survived, although recovery is still far away. According to investigators, the drug was sold on the Internet, including through the VKontakte public page of a certain nutritionist from Yekaterinburg, where the couple bought it.

A promo documentary about Laennec from 2015 is still circulating on the Internet. In it, the miracle drug is promoted by the famous TV presenter Andrey Malakhov. And how can Russians not believe their favorite TV presenter? And do not rush to buy a product … “Laennec” is positioned neither more nor less – as a path to the “health of the nation”, the latest and coolest medical technology that guarantees “active longevity”, “extension of youth” and “aesthetics of appearance”.

What kind of absurdities you will not hear in a commercial with Malakhov in order to suck in an expensive and dubious drug to gullible citizens. It is emphasized that the drug is “produced only in Japan”, which, according to the businessmen promoting the drug, should have a magical effect on the Russians. “This is the only placental drug included in the state insurance program for the improvement of the nation of Japan, which is proof of its highest efficiency and safety,” the video convinces.

In addition to Malakhov, famous doctors also speak about the miraculous qualities of the drug in the video – professors from the clinic of the Department of Education of the President of the Russian Federation, academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and even Oleg Glazachev, professor at the Department of Normal Physiology of the First Medical School, where the deceased student studied. Hadn’t she learned about the magical Laennec from him? “A powerful immunomodulator, a stimulant of physical and mental performance of a practically healthy person,” sounds from the lips of Professor Sechenovka…

It was precisely this that bought into, like many thousands of other people, the deceased Anna Kolyada and her lover, when they decided to “get better” and “raise their vitality” with the help of the drug.

In the Telegram channel, you can easily find groups selling the drug. “MK” contacted one of the buyers, who was interested in a remedy “for all ailments.” Alexei from the city of Kirov turned out to be a young man of 35 years old, as he says, with a medical education.

“This drug was prescribed to me by my endocrinologist,” Alexey told us. But I buy it myself. The question is the price, it is sold very expensive, and everyone is looking for their own ways to buy it. The problem is that people are looking for where it is cheaper, and you can run into swindlers.

– And why do you inject yourself with a drug?

– It is used both for recovery after covid, and for cleansing the body, and for general recovery. But they put me on a drip in a medical facility and under the supervision of a doctor. I think that the tragedy with this girl happened because she prepared the solution in advance. Nobody does that.

In addition, this couple put themselves on drips at home, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable. You need to know both the dose and the intervals between droppers. There is a certain doctor’s prescription – in a certain sequence, in a certain dosage … And they, as I read, dripped almost every other day. But it’s not right! Moreover, I don’t understand why this was necessary for a 22-year-old girl? She is very young, what did she have to “cleanse” there?

Irina Yartseva, an immunologist, suggested her versions of the student’s death after the injection of the drug in an interview with MK: “The couple could have acquired a fake or mistakenly diluted it not with water for injection, but with some other composition.” In addition, along with Laennec, they could also put themselves on other drugs.

The immunologist also doubts that Laennec itself could lead to death. At the same time, like many doctors, Irina Yartseva is skeptical about Laennec, emphasizing that “this drug is dubious, without evidence.”
