Lipetsk powerlifters won the Tula region championship
Lipetsk powerlifters won the Tula region championship. The medals were won by athletes from the Lipetsk Region Powerlifting Federation.
The Tula Region Open Powerlifting Championship took place last weekend.
Lipchan resident Vadim Kazakov took gold in the 83 kg weight category and set a Lipetsk region record in the bench press - 170 kg. Evgeny Ryabtsev won silver and bronze. He also set a record for the Lipetsk region in the squat - 287.5 kg. The Lipetsk team is coached by Andrey Aksenov.
More than 240 athletes from Moscow, Tula, Voronezh, Ryazan, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tambov, Kostroma and Kaluga regions took part in the competition.
