Men who have serious contraindications, such as the absence of limbs or vision problems, will definitely not be called up as part of the partial mobilization in Russia. About it URA.RU said a general practitioner of the highest qualification category, a toxicologist, a former military doctor and colonel of the reserve medical service Alexei Vodovozov.

“Not fit 100% is the absence of limbs or one of them. There are no options here. Blindness in one eye too. These things have always been a real contraindication to the service, ”the physician emphasized.

Also, according to him, those with group B health category will not fall under partial mobilization, however, these people are in the second category of full mobilization, but now they are partial.

At the same time, Vodovozov noted that if during training a disease is discovered with which further service is not provided, then he will be sent home.

“Everyone will undergo a medical examination and during the period of training and combat coordination too. If something is found in someone, this may become the basis for the termination of the contract, as indicated in the presidential decree, ”said the general practitioner.

In addition, Vodovozov noted that, for example, with hypertension and epilepsy, mobilization is not possible. A complete list of diseases is in the regulation on the military medical commission.
