to “Boomerang”, his morning daily. At 43, while hosting a literary program on the BrutX platform, "Plumard", he wanted a new challenge. The journalist, who already had "Le Cercle" and "21 cm" on Canal + to his credit, talks about his relationship to literature.
LE FIGARO. - Why did you agree to take over “La Grande Librairie”?
Augustin TRAPENARD. - It's a childhood dream. Bernard Pivot is one of the reasons why I wanted to do this job and, I will even go further, one of the reasons why I am who I am. An hour and a half dedicated to literature in prime time is unique in the world. It is the very illustration of the French cultural exception.
