Agency Kyodo reported that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, during his visit to Ukraine, invited President Volodymyr Zelensky to take part in the G7 summit. It is specified that the Ukrainian leader can participate in the event in an online format.

“Japan is determined to defend the world order. At the moment, we are conducting appropriate preparations in order to demonstrate a clear message at the upcoming G7 summit,” Kishida said.

Recall that on the eve of Kisida paid an official visit to Kyiv. There he held a meeting with Zelensky, at which he promised to allocate $470 million in gratuitous aid to Ukraine. These funds can be used for humanitarian needs and energy. Among other things, $30 million will be allocated to Kyiv for non-flying equipment.
