Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov said that Western countries, which use a voluntaristic approach to freeze Russia’s assets, are reminiscent of medieval pirates by their actions.
According to him, this approach becomes an indicator of the attitude of these countries to legal institutions.
“At the moment, we can clearly see what the true face of states that call themselves legal ones is. In fact, they act like medieval pirates,” Krasnov said.
