Killer Lyosha Soldier applied for parole
One of the most famous killers of the 90s, Alexey Sherstobitov, better known as Lesha Soldat, may be released on parole. This was reported by Telegram channel Shot.
Sherstobitov is serving a 23-year sentence in correctional colony No. 2 in Lipetsk. He is now 57 years old. According to the channel, Sherstobitov, who was supposed to be released only in 2029, applied for parole because he entered the witness protection program.
After his release, Sherstobitov will be able to change his first and last name in order to hide from his former accomplices.
Let us recall that in the 90s Lesha Soldat was a killer in the Orekhovskaya and Medvedkovskaya organized crime groups. He has 12 proven murders. Before each murder, he carefully disguised himself with wigs, false mustaches or beards.
In 2006, Sherstobitov was detained following a tip from other criminals; at that time he had already retired from criminal cases.
