Kadyrov said that the conflict that arose in the parking lot between the Chechen and the Dagestani has been settled

Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov declaredthat the conflict between the Chechen blogger Askhab Tamaev and the Dagestan athlete Dibir Makhmudov was settled after the appeal of the wife of the Mufti of Dagestan, Aina Gamzatova. The incident took place in the parking lot of a shopping center in Makhachkala, where a blogger was beaten up because of an incorrectly parked car.

“She reminded the children of the wonderful Caucasian tradition, when a woman stopped even a blood feud by throwing a scarf between the conflicting parties,”— declared Mr Kadyrov.

After this appeal, the conflict can be considered completely settled, the head of Chechnya noted. “The Chechen and Dagestan peoples have always sacredly honored the traditions of their ancestors. And we will not allow anyone to openly neglect this,” said Ramzan Kadyrov.

“I want to warn those who are attempting provocations against Chechen and Dagestan drivers against the backdrop of the conflict between Tamaev and Makhmudov. There are no such cases in the Chechen Republic. On our roads, if someone is fined, it is only for traffic violations,” Mr. Kadyrov said, noting that there is absolutely no prejudice in this matter. The head of Chechnya expects that it will not happen in Dagestan either.

The incident occurred on August 24 in Makhachkala in the parking lot near the shopping center. “A 28-year-old resident of Makhachkala, in the course of a scandal that arose, beat a 21-year-old resident of Moscow,”— informs Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dagestan. The victim was the popular MMA blogger Askhab Tamaev. The police detained the suspect. Mash Gor informedthat it turned out to be the world grappling champion Dibir Makhmudov, brother of the Russian boxing champion Shakhabas Makhmudov.

Mr. Tamaev presented his version of what happened on the video. There were no empty spaces in the parking lot, the blogger blocked two cars, thinking that he would quickly buy everything. Then the guard told Askhab Tamaev that his car was in the way. Mr. Tamaev ran to the parking lot, where, according to the blogger, he was presented with a claim, first by one person, then by another. According to Askhab Tamaev, he said that he would remove the car and urged everyone to calm down, but they failed to resolve the situation peacefully.

Makhmudov also presented his version of what happened. He published it on Instagram (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned) of his brother. There, the athlete said that the blogger "initially heated up the situation."
