It’s hard for me now, but I’ll get through it”: relatives ask for prayers for Kushanashvili, who underwent surgery
Otar Kushanashvili underwent surgery to remove the tumor
Famous TV and radio presenter Otar Kushanashvili underwent surgery. The eminent journalist has been battling cancer for several months. As producer Kushanashvili Viktor Ladnenko reported on a social network, the operation to remove a malignant tumor took place as planned. The doctors worked for ten hours. Otar has every chance of recovery, and he does not lose optimism and faith in victory over the disease. Close friends of the talented journalist and just a good person turn through MK to Otar’s fans with requests for prayers.
“The operation is over, it went as planned,” Ladnenko said. “It really lasted a very long time, exhaustingly and, as Otar says, almost the entire daylight hours. Everything we know as of today. Now we believe in the unique organism of the Georgian maestro and his love of life that amazes everyone! These qualities will help him quickly return to normal life and continue to delight all his many fans,” the producer concluded.
“Otar waited a long time for the operation to be performed. - shared a close friend of the journalist, - he was upset when the doctors postponed it... He will cope. He's a very nice guy. I don’t know a more kind and life-loving person.
Of course, he will cope, it cannot be otherwise, since Otar is a strong-willed person. Not long ago, he approached a MK journalist on the set and asked for a recipe for losing weight. I was even somehow taken aback, because he was not timid like Otarov at that moment. “Don’t get me wrong,” he said, “we urgently need to get in good shape in a short time. I understand that a man shouldn’t ask a woman about this... but I see that you have changed and I need it... for work. I have a lot of children, I have to help them all, so now it’s important for me to get a job in a new project..."
A short time later we met Otar again; he was unrecognizable. He succeeded in his desire to get in good shape and came to the set “dressed like a London dandy.” He was beaming with happiness. He looked beyond all praise and lost weight. I expressed my delight! “I also bought myself a new suit for the sake of a new job,” Kushanashvili shared with a smile.
Then everything worked out for him. A talented journalist received a well-deserved long-awaited project. Today he faces a much more important task, but we believe he can handle this too.
Otar was admitted to the hospital on the eve of his birthday, which is celebrated on June 22. “It’s hard for me now, but I’ll get through it,” he wrote to close friends. By the way, he always signs like this: the greatest and unbending Kushanashvili.
