Iran's mission to the UN called the attack on Israel a response to terrorist attacks

The Iranian mission to the UN published a statement on its page on the social network X in connection with the missile attack on Israel.

“A legal, rational and legitimate response from Iran,” the document says.

The statement notes that this is a response to “terrorist acts of the Zionist regime” that were directed against the interests of Iran and encroached on the national sovereignty of the republic.

At the same time, the Mission warns that if Israel responds, “a crushing response will follow.”

Earlier, the Tasnim agency distributed a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which said that the missile strike on Israel was carried out in response to the death of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrullah, as well as the head of the Hamas Politburo Ismail Haniyeh and the deputy head of the IRGC Abbas Nilforoushan.
