Iran announced plans to conclude several oil and gas agreements with Russia

Iran expects to conclude several agreements in the oil and gas sector with Russia within six months. This was stated by Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Asadzadeh.
“In the course of recent negotiations between Russia and Iran, good progress was made on the implementation of the memorandum with Gazprom. I hope that several agreements will be concluded within the next six months,” he said.
The Deputy Minister expressed hope that the current situation in the energy market will lead to even greater cohesion between Iran and Russia in the development of bilateral projects in the gas, oil and petrochemical sectors.
Earlier, OPEC+ countries agreed to cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day from November.
