Regional elections start today, which the CEC described the day before as the calmest in many years. Interest in the elections is affected by the fact that they are not combined with federal campaigns, and the election participants themselves are united by the foreign policy agenda
In 12 regions of the country today, September 9, voting starts at the regional level elections. On September 10, voting will start in three more regions (it will last two days), just like on September 11. In addition, the campaign for the election of deputies in six regional administrative centers (AC) will last three days, two days in one AC, one day in five. In cities of federal significance, there will be no unified approach to deadlines: in Moscow, voting in local elections will begin on Friday, and in St. Petersburg they will meet with the election of municipal deputies in a day.
