Instead of a plank floor, modern linoleum: a school is being overhauled in Porkhov

In Porkhov, Pskov region, the overhaul of secondary school No. 1 is in full swing. Work is being carried out under the federal school overhaul program initiated by the United Russia party and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

For forty years, there has never been a major overhaul at the school, so the workers had to carry out a colossal front of work.

False ceilings are installed in classrooms and corridors; linoleum is laid instead of a plank floor. During the renovation, the guys moved to other buildings. Junior and correctional schools study in kindergartens, middle and senior classes - in the second shift in the third school.

At the second stage of the overhaul of secondary school No. 1 in Porkhov, the roof of the building and storm drains will be repaired. As the press service of the government of the Pskov region told MK in Pskov, this became known during a working meeting between the governor of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov, and the head of the Porkhov district, Yuri Semenov.

In total, 33 schools in the region will be renovated this year, furniture and educational equipment will be purchased.
