In the Trans-Baikal Territory banned the sale of alcohol from military units



The Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory published decreeaccording to which the sale of alcohol is prohibited in a number of localities during the period of partial mobilization.

“To prohibit the retail sale of alcoholic beverages during the period of partial mobilization ... in the urban district of ZATO, Gorny, Trans-Baikal Territory, the Borzinskoye urban settlement of the Borzinsky District municipal district ... the Peschanka village,” the document says.

How notes RIA Novosti, military units are located on the territory of these settlements. The regional government also banned the sale of alcohol within a radius of 300 meters from the buildings of the military registration and enlistment offices. Exceptions are the sale of alcohol in public catering and duty-free shops.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. He clarified that citizens who are in the reserve are subject to conscription, and above all those who served in the ranks of the Armed Forces, have certain military specialties and relevant experience. According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, a total of 300,000 people will be called up - about 1% of the mobilization resource.
