Residents of the Sverdlovsk region, who were on the reserve during the period of partial mobilization, but still have not received a summons, were allowed to leave the cities in which they are registered. An updated version of the order, signed by the acting military commissar of the region Sergey Chirkov, published on the commission’s website. Now the restriction applies only to travel outside of Russia.

Previously ban reservists to leave the municipalities in which they live were introduced in the Kursk, Voronezh and Lipetsk regions. Residents of Crimea liable for military service who wish to leave the territory of the republic even for a few days must register with the military commissariat at the place of stay and to report about his departure to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of registration.

Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia on 21 September. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that 300,000 reservists from all over the country would be called up during the campaign.
