The Chernushinsky District Court of the Perm Territory granted the petition of the convict, called up for military service as part of partial mobilization, to defer the execution of the sentence. “The court considered that the partial mobilization announced by the President of the Russian Federation, the conscription of the convict for military service, the fact that he has a military registration specialty in demand are exceptional circumstances, and granted a six-month deferment of the execution of the sentence,” the press service of the court explained.

According to information Properm.ru, after the announcement of partial mobilization, the Chernushinsky District Court granted a six-month suspension of the execution of the sentence to three local residents who were called up for military service. One of the men was sentenced in 2022 for disobedience to police officers (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The other two were convicted under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subjected to administrative punishment or having a criminal record).

Partial mobilization has been going on in Russia since September 21. Echelons of mobilized people began to be sent from the Perm Territory on September 26th. At the end of last week, the Minister of Territorial Security of the Kama region, Viktor Batmazov, said that 100% of the inhabitants of the region subject to mobilization had been notified of the draft, and by October 1 it was planned to complete their dispatch to training centers, where they must undergo combat coordination. However, official mobilization activities in the Perm Territory have not yet been completed.
