The authorities of the Omsk region returned home 24 people, whose mobilization was recognized as erroneous. Among them are students of colleges and technical schools, as well as people with health problems. This was announced by the head of the Omsk region Alexander Burkov.

“Among them is a man who is the only parent of a minor child, a man with a fracture of the spine, students of colleges and technical schools – they mistakenly thought that only those guys who study at universities can get a deferment,” Alexander Burkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Mr. Burkov added that among those returned there are also people who have a reservation from mobilization, or those who are not suitable for health reasons.

Mobilization in Russia has been taking place since September 21. The media have repeatedly reported cases of mobilization of people who do not fit the criteria announced by the Ministry of Defense. September 29 Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed officials to correct the mistakes made during the mobilization.
