Distributors imported 325,000 electric scooters to Russia in 2022 for 10.9 billion rubles, F+ tech-Marvel analysts calculated. At the same time, only half of the devices were sold in retail – 160,000 electric scooters for 3.5 billion rubles.
In general, about 280,000 electric scooters were imported in the first half of 2022, according to the company’s data. This number is comparable to the figures for the first half of 2021. In the second half of the year, the volume of imported devices is noticeably lower – 45,000 units. This is due to the fact that electric scooters are a seasonal product that is actively imported in the first half of the year and sold mainly in spring and summer, explains a representative of F + tech-Marvel.
