In Russia, after two months of deflation, a week-long inflation was recorded


From September 20 to September 26, weekly inflation was 0.08%, the Rosstat. Since the beginning of July, only deflation has been recorded in Russia on a weekly basis. Inflation in annual terms in Russia slowed down over the week: on September 26, it amounted to 13.71% instead of 13.92% a week earlier, reported Ministry of Economy.

According to experts, the driver of deflation in the summer was the decline in prices for vegetables. Prices for vegetables began to rise last week: an average increase of 0.5%. Cucumbers went up by 7.2%, tomatoes - by 4.7%, bananas - by 2.5%.
