Representatives of the retailer “Red & White” reported that information about the leakage of data from network customers is not true. Earlier today, the Mousetrap platform of the All-Russian Popular Front announced a data leak from the K&B customer base.
“This information is not true,” Krasnoe & Beloe said in response to a question from RIA Novosti about a possible leak. By information platform “Mousetrap”, the fraudster introduced himself as a police officer to one of the employees of the network and asked to help the investigation by providing customer data.
May 30 Ministry of Digital Development agreed a draft law providing for the introduction of a fine for the leakage of personal data in the amount of 1% of the company’s annual revenue. The fine can be up to 3% of revenue if the company tries to hide the fact of the leak.
