In Kyiv called the countries supporting Ukraine's accession to NATO

Ukraine's bid to join NATO was supported by 11 members of the alliance. This was stated by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky Andriy Yermak.

"We are starting the process of Ukraine's accession to NATO and will bring it to the end. Our official application is already at the NATO headquarters in Brussels," he said.

Yermak specified that Ukraine's accession to NATO is supported by such countries as Canada, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.

At the end of September, Zelensky announced that Kyiv would apply for an accelerated entry into NATO. For any country to join the alliance, all 30 members of the bloc must give their consent.
