Civil-military administrations (MCA) in the territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which previously expressed a desire to join Russia, may change the format of work in the fall: the format of administration by them may approach the Russian one. This was told to Vedomosti by a source in the leadership of one of the Russian regions, who is engaged in the selection of officials who go to work in new territories.

He claims that the presidential administration (AP) has been instructed to work on creating a “calm environment” on the ground. “Now there are military-civilian administrations on the ground. In fact, they need to be replaced by peaceful administrations,” the interlocutor says. He clarifies that for this they will take officials who have passed the higher school of public administration of the RANEPA, including from among those who were trained as governors of Russian regions. The latter can lead the territories as interim, he says.
