Hydrometeorological Center: October in Russia will be warm

The weather in October in most regions of Russia will be either within or above the long-term average. Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, drew attention to this.
He also noted that it will be warmer than usual in the Astrakhan region, Kalmykia and the North Caucasus. The temperature will also be above the norm in Yakutia, the Khabarovsk Territory and in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Vilfand also told where to expect the heaviest rainfall. According to him, most of them will fall in the Kuban, in the republics of the North Caucasus, in the Trans-Baikal and Khabarovsk Territories, in the Amur Region on Sakhalin, in the south of Yakutia and in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Earlier, the leading specialist of the Phobos Center, Evgeny Tishkovets, pleased with the imminent onset of Indian summer in the center of Russia. According to him, warm, +10…+15 degrees during the day, and fine weather is predicted from 5 to 10 October.
