Hungarian Foreign Ministry: EU may revise sanctions policy in autumn

According to the M1 TV channel, the State Secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations Tamas Menzer allowed the European countries to review their sanctions policy against Russia with the onset of cold weather.

According to him, the restrictions hurt the "authors" themselves, causing an energy shortage and an explosive price hike in Europe. Therefore, it would be wise to reconsider such a short-sighted policy.

"In this case, the energy shortage and high prices could be stopped soon ... More and more people see reality ... When it's 30 degrees outside, it's good to talk about gas supplies, but when the cold comes, and you need to heat and manage the economy, protect workers places, reality is knocking on the door of every country in Western Europe," Menzer said.
