On the “hot line” on issues of partial mobilization “122” answered the question about the possibility of performing alternative service in the RF Armed Forces for citizens who are in the reserve and are subject to partial mobilization.
“An alternative civilian service is not provided for during mobilization,” the hotline employee replied.
The concept of “Alternative service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” is defined by the Constitution of the Russian Federation in Article 59, part 3. It says that this is “a special type of labor activity in the interests of society and the state, carried out by citizens in return for conscription military service.”
Also, the passage of the ACS is regulated by the Federal Law “On Alternative Civil Service”.
