Russian hockey goalie Ivan Fedotov will not appeal in court against the decision to draft into the army. As Judge Natalya Korableva said, the plaintiff dropped the lawsuit. He sent a request for it. The refusal has already been accepted by the court.

At the same time, the meeting of the Vsevolozhsk City Court of the Leningrad Region was held in the absence of the parties.

Earlier, the Moscow hockey club CSKA clarified the situation with goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov. So, in the official statement of the press service of the club, it is stated that the team is not negotiating with the KHL clubs on the exchange of the player. “Philadelphia” from the NHL was not named in this statement.

Thus, as of today, Fedotov continues to serve in a military unit in the Arkhangelsk region. Fedotov was detained on July 1 in St. Petersburg on suspicion of evading military service.
