Sub-zero temperatures have hit the city streets, which means it’s time to ditch light trousers (and skirts) in favor of something more durable. In the cold season, tight jeans will help – this is the most versatile option that will work with most looks. Plus, jeans require less maintenance than, say, cashmere.

How to choose the right jeans for the cold season? First of all, you need to bet on density. Most often, the density of denim is measured in ounces: the higher this indicator, the more reliable and stronger the pair will be. The most dense and reliable models are made by Japanese manufacturers – the culture of dense denim in Japan has existed for a long time and is constantly flourishing. For winter, it is better to take dry denim jeans: they are denser, require less care and will sit on the figure over time. However, they should be handled with care when cleaning. The first wash should be done no earlier than four to five months after purchase. Jeans should be put in cold water and carefully treated with laundry soap – dry denim jeans do not react well to washing in a typewriter and immediately sit down. Here are a few models of tight jeans for the winter (in the selection, we took into account not only dry denim).
