Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov announced his readiness to resign

Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov commented on rumors of his imminent resignation.
“I have no conversations that I should stop my activities in this post,” he said in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.
Reznikov added that every official should be aware that he is not in his position for life.
“Therefore, I am ready for any development of events,” the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry added, stressing that he was not ashamed of his activities and would have something to show what he had done.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that Reznikov would be replaced as defense minister by the head of military intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, while Reznikov himself would continue to work at the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
