The distributor of Studio Ghibli films Miyazaki in Russia did not renew the rights to show
From June 1, Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki's cartoons by Studio Ghibli will no longer be available in Russian online cinemas. According to TASS, citing a source, the distributor in Russia was unable to renew the rights to show.
"The distributor's rights to Studio Ghibli content are expiring," the source said.
Corresponding notifications have already begun to appear in a number of Russian online cinemas.
