Group-IB was founded in 2003 and develops solutions to prevent cyberattacks, combat fraud and protect brands from digital risks.
In July 2022, Group-IB assets in Russia and the CIS countries were transferred to a new legal entity – Adaptive Security Technologies LLC. Its founders include Group-IB founder Ilya Sachkov (37.5%), Group-IB CEO and co-founder Dmitry Volkov (25%), Altera Capital LLC (25%) and Cyberinvest LLC (12.5%) . The Russian LLC was headed by Valery Baulin. The LLC is headquartered in Moscow, the company is a resident of Skolkovo and Innopolis (Tatarstan). The number of employees in Russia is more than 550 people.
Under the control of the global headquarters of Group-IB Global Private Ltd (Singapore), there are cyber threat research centers in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.
