Gladkov spoke about the consequences of the shelling of the village of Krasnoe

The village of Krasnoe, Belgorod region, was shelled on Saturday, no one was injured, but several houses were damaged, informed Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

“In the Shebekinsky urban district, the village of Krasnoe came under shelling. Most importantly, there were no casualties. One private household was severely damaged by shell fragments, windows were broken in two more, facades and fences were cut,” he wrote.

According to the head of the region, as a result of the shelling, an outbuilding was destroyed and a power line was damaged. The consequences of the attack are eliminated by emergency and operational services, Gladkov added. The village of Krasnoye is located on the border with the Voronezh region.

Earlier today Gladkov announcedthat a high level of terrorist threat will operate indefinitely in the region from February 4. At the same time, the governor announced the shelling by Ukraine of a civilian industrial facility in the village of Borisovka and the fire that arose after that.

The Belgorod Region has become the fourth region that has set the "yellow" level of terrorist threat indefinitely. Prior to that, it was installed in the Crimea, Bryansk and Kursk regions.

On January 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the time limit for introducing terrorist threat levels in Russian regions. Previously, the level of terrorist threat could be set for a period of no more than 15 days, now the decision to introduce a threat level becomes indefinite and is valid until it is canceled. On February 1, the head of state said that the border regions of Russia should not be subjected to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This task is facing the Ministry of Defense of the country, he noted.
