German deputies plan to visit Russia and Donbass

Parliamentarians from the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, expressed their desire to visit Russia and the Donbass. As specified, a visit to the territory of eastern Ukraine will allow the German deputies to form a clearer picture of the situation that is happening there.
The delegation will consist of two deputies – Dr. Hans-Thomas Tilschneider and Daniel Wald. Representatives of the AfD party added that many residents of the federal state are confident that Western media inform them biased about the conflict in Ukraine.
“In order to get their own picture of the humanitarian situation, which will not be limited to criticized reports, especially from state broadcasters, the delegation will go to Eastern Europe,” the faction specified.
