General Staff: there is no talk of mobilizing students

The representative of the main organizational and mobilization department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Tsimlyansky said that 120,000 people will be called up for military service as part of the autumn draft. He assured that full-time students did not fall under the partial mobilization announced on September 21.

“I want to preempt questions right away – there is no talk of any mobilizations, calls for full-time students studying at universities. Everyone calmly goes to classes, no one will call and mobilize, ”— declared Mr Tsimlyansky.

Also, a representative of the General Staff said that the military personnel of the upcoming autumn conscription will serve on the territory of Russia, the conscription activities are not related to the conduct of a special operation.

Today before the Ministry of Defense clarifiedthat citizens with combat experience, privates and sergeants under 35 years old, junior officers under 50 years old, senior officers up to 55 years old, citizens with officer ranks, the ranks of privates and sergeants, citizens of the Russian Federation who left for a short time abroad who are registered in the military.
