General Alaudinov told when the main tasks of the SVO will be completed

The Ukrainian military command has concentrated significant forces in the Kursk direction, removing them from other sections of the front. Russian troops are destroying Ukrainian Armed Forces units transferred to the Kursk region every day, this will continue until this Ukrainian Armed Forces group is defeated with the involvement of our main forces. This was stated in an interview with military reporter Alexander Sladkov by the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov, who has been leading the Akhmat special forces in the Kursk region for more than a month. The general also gave a forecast for how long the SVO will last.

According to Alaudinov, Russian troops, including the Akhmat special forces, were literally a day ahead of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which intended to seize the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and break into Kursk. "The enemy's laxity, so to speak, helped us ensure that they did not actually reach Kurchatov," Alaudinov said.

The seizure of the nuclear power plant, the general believes, would be used by Kiev for bargaining in negotiations with Russia.

The enemy, according to him, has been stopped, although it is still attempting to break through. But all of them are accompanied by heavy losses. The general said that for now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding territory in the Kursk region measuring 40 km along the front and 15-18 km in depth. "The enemy has dragged a lot of reserves here, a lot of resources, and this resource is being systematically destroyed," Alaudinov said.

According to him, the 61st, 82nd, 92nd, and 95th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting in the Kursk region. "It turns out that they bring in a battalion from these brigades, ... we destroy them battalion by battalion, it turns out. They withdraw these battalions, bring in the next battalions. We have been going on all these days, for a month now ... this circulation," the general said.

If initially a group of approximately 12 thousand people entered the Kursk region, today it is estimated at 20 thousand people. At the same time, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces here in a month exceeded 11 thousand people.

Answering the question of why the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not immediately throw all their forces into the Kursk region, the general said: "If the entire reserve were here, that would be a real gift for us. We would then have, as they say, such an idyll, when they would have laid down the majority of their forces and resources here."

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command realized that the Russian troops are “very well-resourced.” At the same time, the general noted, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have almost no foreign weapons. “They still all have Kalashnikovs,” he says. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a large number, thousands of FPV drones. “They fly without a break, … let’s say, they can spend 10 or 20 (drones) on one of our fighters to get him.” Communications and electronic warfare are well developed.

"Our task now is to properly cut off the area, knock out the forces that they have, not giving them the opportunity (to act) as before. ... After that, slowly squeeze out this area, clearing it completely. We are now carrying out this task very well and systematically."

Speaking about the prospects for combat operations in the SVO zone, General Alaudinov said that in the Donetsk direction "our units have gone on the offensive very well." "Every day they take settlements, liberating very large territories. Mainly due to the fact that the enemy is withdrawing very large resources from there and throwing them here (into the Kursk region) in order to hold this area."

It takes time to destroy the 20,000-strong Ukrainian Armed Forces group in the Kursk region, which includes dozens of tanks and two hundred armored vehicles. According to him, either we must also throw huge resources here, take them from somewhere, or we must systematically destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the resources we have.

"And since they have already come here, we must do everything to contain and destroy them in order to fully develop our offensive potential there (in other directions). And when we have already done the work that must be done there, ... very serious resources will also come to us. We will be able to shut all of this down."

According to Alaudinov, he is "more than confident that the SVO will be completed this year." "The main work on the SVO will already be completed this year," the general said.
