Gazprom to build 22 small LNG plants for 130 billion rubles

Gazprom plans to invest about 130 billion rubles in the coming years. in the construction of 22 small-scale plants for the production of liquefied gas (LNG). Alexey Kakhidze, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom LNG Technologies (a subsidiary of Gazprom), told reporters about this at the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum (TNF-2022). According to him, the construction of one such enterprise will take about 2-3 years, LNG plants will be located “mainly near highways, closer to million-plus cities.”
