Gazprom-Media announced the release of its own glossy magazine



The Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television company, a subsidiary of the Gazprom-Media holding, will publish its own glossy magazine. It will be published six times a year with a circulation of 5 thousand copies. Deputy General Director of the holding Tina Kandelaki said RBCthat the magazine will be dedicated to style and lifestyle.

Glossy magazine is a joint project of Gazprom-Media with stylist Aleko Nadiryan, who will become editor-in-chief. The target audience of the future magazine is residents of million-plus cities aged 21 to 55 years. The name has not yet been chosen. According to Ms. Kandelaki, the magazine will be sold in supermarkets, airports, marketplaces and bookstores.

In his Telegram channel Tina Kandelaki said that she dreams of putting Garik Kharlamov on the cover of one of the issues of the future magazine. “I don’t know who will be on the first cover, but I promise you that you have never seen such a Garik Kharlamov anywhere. Luxurious, in Tom Ford, thin, looking like Brad Pitt. I really dream of making such a cover and I hope that the team of the new magazine will definitely support me. Who, if not Garik, is the face of male sex in Russia,” she said.

Gazprom-Media’s portfolio already includes printed publications - the Caravan of Stories and 7 Days magazines. However, they are not positioned as gloss and occupy a different niche. The holding owns the television channels TNT, NTV, Match TV and others. Gazprom-Media also owns the RuTube video hosting service, several radio stations and the Premier online cinema.
