Gas prices in Europe exceeded $2,000

Gas prices in Europe have exceeded $2,000 per thousand cubic meters. This is evidenced by the data of the London Stock Exchange ICE.

The cost of October futures on TTF rose by 10 percent compared to the previous day's close.

Gas began to rise in price amid reports of leaks in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

Leaks were found in Swedish and Danish waters off the island of Bornholm. Navigation is limited in these areas.
