French Foreign Minister Colonna promised Ukraine to help “restore sovereignty”

The head of the French Foreign Ministry, Catherine Colonna, said that France should help Ukraine “not only defend itself, but also restore sovereignty.” She said this at a press conference with the foreign ministers of Romania and the Netherlands.
“Unfortunately, today is the time to fight, we must help Ukraine not only defend itself, but also restore its independence and sovereignty,” the minister said.
In her opinion, the time for negotiations will be when Ukraine “balances the balance of power.” She also said that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “always wanted a dialogue and continues to do so.”
Earlier, the Column visited Odessa. There she promised Paris will respond to Kyiv’s request on the supply of air defense systems.
