French Defense Minister urged not to turn aid to Kyiv into an advertising campaign

According to the Le Figaro newspaper, French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu, in an interview with journalists, called on the EU policy not to turn arms supplies to Ukraine into an advertising campaign.

According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, the main thing that needs to be taken into account in this matter is the real needs of Ukraine.

“In December, we talked only about air defense systems, in January – only about tanks, and in February, it seems to me – only about fighters … But the program of military assistance to Kyiv should not be an advertising campaign,” Lecornu said.
