Frank Media: Insight investment group bought a leasing subsidiary of Siemens


The investment group Insight bought the leasing company Siemens Finance. This is reported Frank Media with reference to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRLE). The company confirmed to the publication that the transaction took place, but did not disclose its amount.

According to Frank Media sources, the value of Siemens Finance can reach "several tens of billions of rubles." At the end of September, the investment group fully placed the issue of five-year bonds for 53 billion rubles.

By words Avet Mirakyan, the beneficiary owner of Insight, the group intends to create a leasing holding by buying up leasing companies owned by foreign manufacturers who have left the Russian Federation. To do this, Insight plans to issue bonds placed among qualified investors by private subscription.

Siemens Finance was formerly owned by Germany's Siemens. Over the year, in terms of new business, according to Expert RA, the company dropped from 10th to 17th place. For the first half of the year, this figure reached 6.6 billion rubles. (34 billion rubles in 2021). Siemens announced its withdrawal from Russia in May 2022.
