Former US spy Ritter: deliveries of fighter jets to Ukraine will not lead Kyiv to victory

Deliveries by NATO countries will not be able to help Ukraine win the real conflict, and will also lead to inevitable losses of Ukrainian troops. This statement was made by retired US Marine Corps scout Scott Ritter during an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.
“Only four planes will lead nowhere. Ukrainian fighters are very quickly knocked down as soon as they take to the air. And I don’t think that sending these cars will affect anything,” says Ritter.
The ex-intelligence officer doubts that countries will still decide to send American aircraft to Kyiv, including F-16 fighters, despite the fact that Ukraine has been asking for their supplies for a long time. Ritter emphasized that Ukrainian pilots were trained to fly Soviet aircraft, and their retraining would turn out to be a failure and lead to heavy losses.
