Former LPR Minister Zavizenov was found dead in Istra
Konstantin Zavizenov, former Minister of Fuel, Energy and Coal Industry of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), died in the Moscow region. This was reported by the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel.
The body of a 50-year-old official was found on the territory of a country house in the Istra district. Zavizenov’s son reported that his father planned to go hunting in Kamchatka the next day.
According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, Zavizenov was going through difficult times: his wife allegedly found out about his new family in Nizhny Novgorod and filed for divorce.
Zavizenov served as Minister of Energy of the LPR in 2022-2023.
