Forecast of the list of categories of scientists who can be exempted from mobilization published

A number of departments are considering the possibility of expanding the list of categories of workers in the scientific and educational complex who need a deferment from mobilization. There are many initiators of the project of the forthcoming document. These are the Ministry of Education and Science, Rosmolodezh, the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, the Coordination Center and other organizations.

As the Scientific and Educational Policy Expert and Analytical Center confirmed, the project is considering the possibility of granting a deferment to the following categories:

– scientific workers of scientific organizations;

– scientific and pedagogical employees of organizations engaged in educational activities for the implementation of educational programs of higher education and additional professional programs, as well as scientists of other organizations engaged in scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities;

– engineering and technical workers in state educational and scientific organizations that ensure the operation and maintenance of research infrastructure equipment;

– persons studying under the programs of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate studies in full-time and part-time forms of education in state educational organizations, in scientific organizations;

– persons studying under the training programs for scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in residency in full-time and part-time education in state educational organizations, in scientific organizations;

– persons studying under the programs of assistant-internship in full-time and part-time forms of education in state educational organizations, in scientific organizations.

The project is currently under discussion. As colleagues from the NOP told us, this material can be considered nothing more than a forecast.

As we can see, the list has not yet included students from non-state universities, for which, apparently, at the moment there is no unambiguous consensus and a political decision to postpone mobilization.
