Forbes Edition informs, that the widow of Dmitry Zelenov, co-founder of the Donstroy development group of companies, who died in France in December, sued her husband’s parents, accusing them of trying to deprive her and her son of part of the inheritance.

Natalya Dvoryaninova, according to the publication, claims that the businessman’s parents changed the locks in the house where the spouses lived, took away “more than two dozen” cars and deprived her of access to other assets.

It is noted that Zelenov did not leave a will.

The application from Dvoryaninova and Zelenov’s eldest son Mikhail, according to Forbes, was received by a Florida court at the end of January. In addition to the businessman’s parents, the defendants are also his adult daughter and financial adviser.

The lawsuit involves the Moscow house of the co-founder of Donstroy and his widow, as well as four Mercedes owned by the businessman, two Bentleys and a Rolls Royce. The total value of only the contested cars is a seven-figure sum.

In addition, as stated in the complaint, Dvoryaninova and her son lost access to rental income from a ski chalet in Courchevel and a 7-bedroom estate in New Jersey worth $5 million.

It is difficult to fully assess the value of the assets of the deceased, Forbes notes – Zelenov did not live permanently in the United States, where Dvoryaninova lives with her children. At the time of his death, the businessman was a resident of Cyprus. Dvoryaninova’s lawyers say his Russian real estate assets are worth “tens of millions of dollars” and $90 million in France.

In 2008, Zelenov was included in the Forbes list of Russian billionaires, but then his fortune began to decline due to the crisis in the real estate market.

The publication also notes the mysterious death of 50-year-old Zelenov, who, after “a dinner party on the French Riviera, fell on the railing of the stairs and died of critical head injuries.”
