After the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, 600-700 thousand Russians left the country, 200 thousand of them went to Kazakhstan. After the announcement of a partial mobilization in the country, queues of citizens wishing to leave Russia were observed at the borders with Kazakhstan, Georgia, Finland and other countries. Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan called figure of more than 200 thousand Russians who have entered the republic since September 21. In nine days – from 17 to 26 September – the border with Georgia crossed about 78 thousand Russians, and more than 62 thousand left the country. According to the EU border agency Frontex, from September 21 to 27, 66 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation entered the EU. As of September 30, Finland only arrived about 60 thousand Russians. Moscow has still not made public the number of citizens who have fled the country in the past two weeks.
