When, at the end of May in front of a few journalists, Emmanuel Macron unveils the project of what will become the National Refoundation Council, he thinks big and wants to go fast. This launch, scheduled for early July, would take place over several days; all reform projects, including that of pensions, would be on the agenda. “But it will not be a fifth round”, then warned the Head of State: it will not be a question of arbitrating on what to do; but to agree on how to do it.
