FC Krasnodar and FC Sochi played matches in the Cup of Russia and in the national championship

Did they denounce the “citizens”?

Last week, the “bulls” played in the second round of the Cup of Russia against the capital’s Lokomotiv. The city’s rival was not in the best shape – the railroad lost three matches in a row. Krasnodar put up quite a fighting squad for this match.

The game started, as they say, without buildup. Already in the sixth minute the hosts were celebrating a goal. “Krasnodar” unsuccessfully cleared the ball after a corner, it was intercepted by Artem Karpukas, passed to Wilson Isidor, the striker quickly handled the ball in the penalty area and shot along the goal. Francois Camano had only to substitute his foot in the goalkeeper area. From the Guinean striker the ball flew into the net. The Bulls bounced back quickly, scoring almost the same goal. On the eleventh minute, Eduard Spertsyan crossed into the penalty area after a corner kick, the hosts were able to clear the ball, but not far. First, Egor Sorokin received a projectile, the defender struck from the corner. The ball ricocheted off Vyacheslav Litvinov’s foot and flew into the near corner of the goal.

Ten minutes later, Lokomotiv was already losing. Karpukas and Pedrinho left one Alexei Ionov on the left flank, the midfielder made a cross into the goalkeeper’s area, where John Cordoba jumped over Stanislav Magkeev and drove the ball into the near corner with his head. The Bulls could still score before the break. Cordoba had two chances, but Daniil Khudyakov outplayed him. In the first case, the goalkeeper knocked the ball out in a tackle. In the second, the Colombian hit the gate, but in the fight against the goalkeeper played along with his hand, the goal was canceled after watching video replays.

In the second half, Loko improved significantly and managed to win back. At the 57th minute, Camano made a pass to the left flank, Pedrinho burst into the penalty area, shook Sergei Volkov and shot into the goalkeeper’s area. There, Girano Kerk put his foot up and sent the ball into the net – 2: 2.

This score remained until the end of the meeting. Therefore, the match went to a penalty shootout. At Krasnodar, only Christian Ramirez was able to score a goal. Kirk and Pedrinho scored against Lokomotiv. The last goal was scored by Ivan Ignatiev, a pupil of the “citizens” – 2: 2 (3: 1).

As it turned out, important events developed not only during the match. As Krasnodar General Director Vladimir Khashig said after the game, employees of the Match TV channel filmed Cordoba, who, entering the locker room during the break, scolded the refereeing. TV broadcasters poisoned the record in the CDC, translating the words of the Colombian from Spanish into Russian. As a result, Cordoba was suspended for two matches.

“We consider this to be denunciation and, as a club, we stop all contacts with Match TV, except for those stipulated by the RPL and Match TV contracts,” Khashig said.

After that, the “bulls” took “Khimki” in the tenth round of the championship of Russia. The account was opened already in the seventh minute of the meeting. The goal was scored by Spertsyan, who cheated on Zakhar Volkov in the penalty area, and then sent the ball into the far bottom corner. In the second half of the first half, after a corner kick, the same Spertsyan crossed into the goalkeeper’s area, where Nikita Krivtsov, diving with his head, cut the ball into the far corner.

Krasnodar was in the lead throughout the game, but the guests managed to bounce back at the beginning of the second half. First, Alexander Zuev walked along the flank and crossed Denis Glushakov to the far post, the captain threw it to the center, from where Ilya Kukharchuk sent the ball into the net. Further, the “bulls” had many scoring chances, but only Maxim Kutovoy was able to score in stoppage time of the match. The striker was the first on the rebound, after the reflected blow of Ilzat Akhmetov.

The victory in the tenth round allowed the bulls to score twenty points, but Alexander Storozhuk’s team did not change their place in the standings, and remained fourth. Krasnodar will play the next game on September 28 as part of the group stage of the Russian Cup. “Citizens will play at home against Paris Nizhny Novgorod.

We waited for the forward

At the same time, the “leopards” hosted the capital’s “Torpedo” in the group stage of the Russian Cup. Compared to the first cup game, the composition of the Sochi residents has not changed much. Place at the gate was again taken by Denis Adamov, in the center of defense: Artem Meshchaninov and Vanya Drkushich, at the edges: Artem Makarchuk and Timofey Margasov. Kirill Kravtsov, Amir Batyrev, Timofey Shipunov and Joaozinho took the places in the center of the field, and Daniil Martovoy and Vladislav Sarveli were at the forefront of the attack. Out of the application were: ill Kirill Ushatov, injured Kirill Zaika, Ibragim Tsallagov and Victorien Angban, as well as Christian Noboa and Artur Yusupov, who received rest.

“Kurortniki” scored a goal in the 21st minute of the meeting. Martovoy gave a pass to the left flank, where it was accepted and processed by Batyrev. Then the midfielder on the backswing removed the defender of “Torpedo” and poisoned the projectile exactly in the far corner.

The newcomer of Sochi could also score a double, a little later he powerfully shot into the corner, but Alexander Dovbnya was the first on the ball. “Torpedo” answered, but at first it was not so dangerous. Sochi could have gone to the break, scoring two goals, but the guests’ goalkeeper played well. So he saved the team a minute before the end of regular time of the first half.

During the break, the “resorts” made four substitutions at once – Drkusic and Batyrev left, but the Malian central defender Moussa Sissako made his debut.

In the second half, “Torpedo” noticeably improved. Already in the 55th minute, after a flank pass, David Karaev sent the ball into the corner of Adamov’s goal. And five minutes later Igor Lebedenko brought the guests ahead. Forward powerfully punched into the top corner of the gate. And fifteen minutes later Alexander Ryazantsev scored a goal against Sochi. The midfielder sent the ball into the goal after Karaev’s pass – 1: 3.

Further, the team of Vadim Garanin hosted the Voronezh Fakel in the tenth round of the Russian Championship. The guests arrived with the new head coach Dmitry Pyatibratov.

Makarchuk could not take part in this meeting at Sochi residents. The defender was serving a suspension for busting yellow cards. The place at the gate this time was taken by Soslan Dzhanaev. Substitutions failed to refresh the team’s game. Joaozinho, who came out at the end of the meeting, could distinguish himself, but Ilya Svinov repulsed his dangerous blow.

A draw allowed the Sochi team to remain in sixth place with seventeen points. Now Garanin’s team is waiting for a meeting with CSKA on September 28 as part of the third round of the Russian Cup.

After the match with Fakel, Sochi announced the acquisition of the Montenegrin striker Luka Djordjevic. In the last championship, the center forward defended the colors of the Danish Vejle. He also played for the St. Petersburg “Zenith”, Tula “Arsenal” and the capital’s “Locomotive”. Barça did not hide the fact that they were actively looking for an attacker, and now they found him. Djordjevic joined the Spas as a free agent. He will play in the team under the 11th number.
