The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) instructed to strengthen price controls on military equipment and other military goods.

“The FAS of Russia has instructed the territorial departments to strengthen control over prices for overalls, uniforms and equipment,” the FAS said in a statement.

They added that we are talking about ammunition, sleeping bags, tactical clothing, thermal underwear, trekking shoes, backpacks, hiking accessories and so on.

The FAS stated the need to respond quickly to violations of antimonopoly law and unreasonable price increases.

Earlier, the agency sent inquiries to a number of stores to ascertain the validity of sharp changes in prices for overalls and equipment.
