The Basmanny Court of Moscow issued a decision on arrest in absentia under the new article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation 284.1 – “Carrying out the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization, in respect of which a decision was made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation.”

He is the senior bishop of the New Generation Association of Ukrainian Christian Churches. In August 2021, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation added this association to the list of undesirable on the territory of Russia, as its activities pose a threat to the country’s security.
