Director of environmental programs of the All-Russian public organization “Green Patrol” Roman Pukalov urged the Russians not to car before the trip. Expert referred to “Radio Sputnik“, said that by doing this the driver endangers the inhabitants of the first and second floors of the houses.

According to Pukalov, exhaust gases containing soot, carbon dioxide, nitric oxide and benzpyrene, which can cause poisoning, accumulate in the yard.

The expert said he was not an engineer, but suggested that “temperature imbalance,” in which the coolant in the car warms up faster than the oil during warm-up, is causing engine wear.

Pukalov recommended warming up the car in motion, gradually increasing the speed.
